Note: Unexpected guest # 2 will make you think deeply!

Somewhere high above the sky and very close to God himself, there is a huge gate that guards the pathway to Heaven. Just outside the gate stands the ‘Gatekeeper of Heaven’, who decides whether a person deserves a place in Heaven or not.

A soldier, who has just sacrificed his life in the war field, appears before the Gatekeeper and claims for a position in Heaven!

O Mighty Gatekeeper of Heaven,

I am a man of valor, honor and service. While on Earth I had devoted my life for the service of my nation, fought and won many wars. Even when I died in the battlefield today, I made sure that I kill the enemy who shot me.

Every single man on Earth who knows me can vouch for the fact that I have always done my duty properly. Hence, I stand before thee and seek for a place in Heaven, for I have always been faithful to my masters, lived by my word and done what is right for nation.

O Mighty Gatekeeper of Heaven, please open the door for this faithful servant!

With this the soldier knelt down before the gatekeeper and waited for him to open the door. However, the gatekeeper is still not convinced! and the soldier is also unable to understand what is taking him so long to decide.

The first unexpected guest arrives!

Just as the gatekeeper is still pondering over his decision, another soldier comes seeking for a place in heaven and says the exact same words!

O Mighty Gatekeeper of Heaven,

I am a man of valor, honor and service. While on Earth I had devoted my life for the service of my nation, fought and won many wars. Even when I died in the battlefield today, I made sure I kill the enemy who shot me.

Every single man on Earth who knows me can vouch for the fact that …..

Just as when the second soldier was saying this, he saw the first soldier there and was shocked to see him there!

They both had just killed each other in the battlefield, and are now both seeking a place in heaven!

The Gatekeeper’s dilemma was now clear to both the soldiers. After a long silence, the gatekeeper said the following:

You both are men of great character, have served your nations, and have fought wars for a cause. And you both believe your cause to be justified as well.

Yet you both have killed each other, and hence both cannot be right. If one of you is right, the other has to be wrong!

I leave it up to you to decide who deserves a place in Heaven. Once you have made a decision, let me know and I will open the gate for the right person to go to Heaven!

Both the soldiers went on to argue about politics and history to prove that their cause is more righteous than the other, yet could not come to a conclusion. The argument went on and on for eternity, and the gatekeeper kept listening to both of them very patiently.

But how could a decision be made in such a matter? Such a logic was completely against what they had been always taught. As a human being, we can easily find the slightest of dirt in other, but are never even bothered to look into the huge scars in own self!

The second unexpected guest arrives!

While the soldiers were still intensely debating over this, the second unexpected guest appears with an even strange argument! He was not dressed in an army uniform, yet introduced himself as a soldier and claimed for a place in Heaven by saying the following:

O Mighty Gatekeeper of Heaven,

I am a man of God himself. I am committed towards faith and religion and service of Almighty himself — and have been raging a war in His name.

There came a point when I realized that the message of God was not being communicated to everyone, and a sacrifice is required to make our voice heard. I tied a bomb to myself and blasted a school — and with it the children of all the non-believers of God.

My sacrifice is not for land, power or money but to strengthen the name of God himself. Hence, my sacrifice is bigger than anyone other soldier who might have come to your doorstep.

O Mighty Gatekeeper of Heaven, please open the door for this very religious and pious man!

The soldiers were shocked to hear this, but unfortunately for the gatekeeper — it was not a new sight. There was silence yet again, and way longer than it was before. Suddenly, the soldiers begin to reflect where they might have gone wrong during their time on Earth, but it was mighty too late now!

But who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell, this decision is still pending!

And the gatekeeper cannot decide the same. Suddenly the gate of Heaven opens and God himself appears before the three soldiers! For some reason, there is a sadness on His face which is usually not the case!

I wonder what God has to say — May be we shall find out soon?
