Take a moment and count your blessings!

The irony of our life is we often don’t get to realize the value of what we have, until we lose it. Sharing below some of the most valuable things in our life — which we never realize:

👉 I. Were you able to get up today and see the beautiful world? If yes, please appreciate the beauty around you because there are 39 million people in the world who got up today and could not see the world!

👉 II. Were you able to feel your legs in the morning when you woke up? Be grateful to your legs as there are 75 million people across the globe who need wheelchair on a daily basis!

👉 III. Were you able to smile today when you saw something beautiful? Value that ability to smile because roughly 3.8% of world’s population (~300 million people) suffer from mental depression and are just not able to smile at all the good things in their lives!

👉 IV. Did you have your food today? Maybe you don’t know but there is a child named Aysha in Ethiopia, who spends 8 hours a day just to fetch water for her brother and parents.

👉 V. Did you wake up today and not having to deal with terminal illness? Each year, an estimated 56.8 million people, including 25.7 million in the last year of life, are in need of palliative care.

👉 VI. Do you have someone called as family — someone who irritates and annoys you yet loves you unconditionally and cares for you? Go tell that person how much you love him/her. In a world full of people, not everyone is lucky to have someone whom he/she can call family!

Remember, we have much more to be grateful for than to complain about 😇. Often the things that matters most to us, go unappreciated when we have them.

Hence, take a moment and count your blessings!
