Make sure you read what the youngest imp has to say! There is some harsh uncomfortable reality in his words!

Somewhere between Hell and Earth, all the devils and imps have gathered. There is a congregation going on to discuss a matter of the gravest concern.

Based upon the data compiled by the devils’ statistics team, kindness and morality has increased over the past year, although within a small section on Earth.

This has never happened before and the entire devil community is concerned if this anomaly is a precursor for a wider trend that is about to occur on Earth.

The devils, however cruel or monstrous they might be, are very sincere towards their work, and hence are determined to reach to the bottom of this behavior.

The head devil stood up, and said in the most gruesome voice —

We all share a dream — a dream wherein the devil rules the heart of each and every noble man on Earth. With every devilish act on Earth, we move an inch closer to our dream, and yet we stand here debating the unthinkable.

Never before our plans have failed, but here we stand humiliated by the noble acts of only 10 young men and women — who actually believed in serving the humanity rather than giving it to their own lust.

Tell me, when did jealousy, treachery and greed go out of fashion among mankind?

All the devils shared an expression of concern, yet no one had an answer for it. The head devil continued to speak —

We need to devise new ways to spread hatred, and we need to devise them now!

All the devils now nodded in agreement, and a group discussion began among them. Lots and lots of ideas were brought onto the table, and each idea was thoroughly debated. The devils, however cruel they might be, had the best corporate etiquettes that even can put the biggest multinationals to shame.

When the youngest imp rose to the occasion

Amidst all the discussion, the youngest of the devil raised his hand and asked for permission to speak. Rumor had been that he was the emerging talent in the entire devilhood and was being touted as the next big thing. The youngest imp began to speak —

I have a plan that is bound to succeed.

I propose we send our devils, disguised as godmen, among the people on Earth.

The humanity is at a point where living a life itself has become very tiring, and each and every person is trying to find solace somewhere. And as devils we cannot let that happen. Rather than helping them find solace, we sell them an illusion of solace itself.

Disguised as godmen, we sell them all the dreams of heaven, and peace, and tranquility, and lure them into believing that we are the actual angles sent by God Himself. Trust me when I say that dreams sell pretty easily these days.

Once the mankind follows us blindly, they would be nothing but mere puppets in our hands. We will make them fight against the most righteous people, burn the most sacred places of worship, and even kill and rape mercilessly in the name of God.

In this way, the entire mankind will be a devil’s army, while under the illusion that they are doing the noblest of deeds in the name of God.

We execute it to such a perfection that the day when God himself appears on Earth, our followers shall not trust God Himself, but us who have lured them!

The audience was so stunned that they could not even speak for a moment! This sounded like the perfect plan. Once everyone began to visualize how this would turn out in the future, there was a devilish grin on everyone’s face.

The head devil eventually stood up and gave a loud roar for the youngest imp who was sure to shine darkest in the future. The roars, the shouts, and the growls continued to grow louder. Legend says that the entire devil community danced and partied with wine and alcohol since time immemorial.

Once the party was over, the head of the congregation asked for volunteers to go to Earth and execute this perfect plan. Each member raised his hand and was desperate to be part of this most ignoble initiative.

Years and centuries later

The youngest of imp himself came disguised as an angel, and became the spiritual master of the noblest group of 10 men and women. Similarly, the army of devils is spread across the globe as numerous godmen with millions of followers and worshipers.

It has been ages since that meeting, and the devils are executing this plan to near perfection. And since that day, never has morality or kindness ever increased on Earth.

The Silent Monk hopes that the day when God himself comes to Earth, as He has promised in almost every religious scripture, the entire mankind has some love and kindness and sense left within itself, that we do not fail to recognize God Himself!
