Hello Ladies, six pack abs, guitars and travel bloggers are all things of the past. The latest fashion these days is a man who cooks his own food. If you have any doubt in your mind, here are six mind blowing reasons to totally sway your opinion.

I. He does not go by the societal stereotypes.

Traditionally, cooking has been associated with the women of the house — be it a mother, a wife or even a daughter. Then if you find a man who cooks, he is brave enough to not get typecast in the societal stereotypes. A man in the kitchen wearing an apron with a ladle in the hand, is a sign that he is courageous and listens to his heart. And if you happen to reside in his heart as well, be assured that he will always listen to you 😄.

II. He knows how to take care of himself.

A man who cooks knows how to lead a healthier lifestyle. Because he cooks himself, he knows what goes inside all the McDonalds and KFC burgers. Not only will he always eat healthy, you are bound to imbibe healthy eating habits in his company. He may not have the perfect sculpted chest, but he would not have a beer belly either. I think that’s a fair trade, isn’t it 😃?

III. He is patient.

Ever try baking the cake at a higher temperature or making your favorite wraps on high flame, the food will get burnt. Cooking is an act of patient and cooking good food takes time. And no one knows this better than a man who cooks himself.

Besides food, if there is ever anything in your relationship that needs time to flourish, you can totally trust this man.

IV. He will share the load.

All the daily household chores — right from buying the grocery to cleaning the toilet — this man will #ShareTheLoad on each and everything. He will take equal responsibility of the house and would never make you struggle alone.

V. He is more likely to be a house husband.

And, if you ever want to return to work after having kids, he is more likely to be a house husband. While you can be the breadwinner, he will have no problem baking bread for you at home.

VI. He knows how to clean the mess.

The dirtiest job in the house is often cleaning the messiest dishes. At least, I think that way. The tastier the food is, the dirtier are the dishes that are left behind.

A man who cooks is adorable, but a man who cleans the dishes is totally irresistible.

A man who cleans them, will also know how to clean any mess (if any) in the relationship.

Ladies, if all that is above is not enough for you, remember a way to women’s heart also goes through her stomach.
